Like Kannon and Jizo, Fudo Buddha is for all Buddhists regardless of sect or denomination as long as you honor Almighty Fudo Buddha with true devotion. While usually associated with the Shingon and Tendai sects, Almighty Fudo is also venerated by Jodo Pure Land, Zen and Nichiren Buddhists for His peerless role as an Almighty Protector, a Giver on Enlightenment in this lifetime and a Savior in the Afterlife.
